Electrification means transitioning your home or business to clean and affordable electricity for a healthier community and planet. This means being more mindful about how we build our buildings and what goes into them. Transitioning our appliances with electric alternatives makes homes and buildings safer, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly.
You’ll also get better performance and lower utility bills with all electric technologies. As a bonus, it’s healthier to work, play, and live in buildings that are all electric. It also builds resiliency; our buildings and homes will be more resilient to withstand extreme weather events that Las Cruces faces like extreme heat.
The PowerUP Las Cruces Expo & Training is for community businesses as well as local residents. We encourage everyone take advantage of learning about the benefits of converting a home to all electric appliances. Trainings will be held for businesses on Friday January 20th, and for residents on Saturday January 21st before the Expo begins.
