We know the uncertainty of the past two years has caused many people to forego event planning, and we understand! Safety is and always will be a top priority. The Convention Center is open and our dedicated team of industry professionals is doing everything possible to keep you and your attendees healthy and safe. It is our goal to provide you with exceptional service and personal attention throughout your planning and production process.

The Las Cruces Convention Center is a GBAC STAR Facility:
We have taken the proactive approach of outfitting the entire HVAC system with bipolar ionization. This is a newly developed technology that can inactivate viruses, break down pollutants and purify the air you breathe providing a safe environment for everyone indoors.
ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management and services company, has created VenueShield, a comprehensive and best-in-class program, providing the highest levels of cleanliness and safety in partnership with leading medical professionals, industry experts and public health ofﬁcials. Protocols will vary based on the type of facility and will be customized for each unique location. VenueShield will provide the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve ASM Global’s clients, guests, staff, teams, talent, and all other visitors.
To further help enhance your safety, the Las Cruces Convention Center has also invested in hydrostatic disinfectant sprayers that allow us to cover and disinfect high touch surfaces at a rate of 5,000 square feet every 15 minutes making disinfecting and changeovers achievable in a timely manner.
We require the use of face coverings for guests, employees, contractors, and visitors to be worn at all times except for when fans are eating and drinking at their seats.
Surfaces will be frequently disinfected prior to, after and frequently during the event to prevent virus transmission.
Our cleaning staff is trained in Environmental Hygiene and Safety programs. Event organizers, contractors and vendors are responsible for training their own employees regarding environmental hygiene and safety measures.
All working staff and facility sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers will undergo health screening and temperature checks before entering the facility.
Hand sanitizers will be installed at a maximum level. Stations will be readily and highly visible interior of the facility and easily accessible for guest’s throughout. Touchless hand sanitizing stations will be located in high trafficked areas.
The guest arrival and experience will be programmed to allow guests to arrive at an environment that promotes the expedient process and places social distancing of 6′ queuing at the forefront.
