Once you have selected the Las Cruces Convention Center as your event location and finalized your license agreement, an Event Manager will begin working closely with you on the logistics of planning and coordinating your event. In Las Cruces, the professional management staff will give you personalized customer service and innovative ideas to exceed your expectations.  We have the venue, the staff, equipment and services to make planning your event an efficient and stream-lined process.

The Las Cruces Convention Center provides food and beverage services, audio visual services, decorator and exhibitor services, and marketing services in-house. Floor Plans & Capacity Chart

Exhibit Hall

17,200 square feet of column-free contiguous space. The Exhibit Hall features carpeted floors and access to utilities for ease of logistics and exhibitor satisfaction. The 20’ clearance height of the space, along with a large ground level roll up door, offers the flexibility for bringing in large exhibits and rigging from the ceiling for full production events.


Approximately 9,000 square feet of column-free carpeted space and the 24’ ceilings will show the exposed wood beams to add to the ambiance of the well appointed space. The Ballroom boasts an outdoor covered event area with views of the Organ Mountains.

Meeting Rooms

Nearly 8,500 square feet of breakout space with (13) rooms total. Six of the rooms have 475 square feet of space and the other seven have over 900 square feet. You can combine the rooms to make additional space if needed.

Prefunction Space

The Las Cruces Convention Center has over 9,500 square feet of indoor prefunction space that illuminates with natural light – providing a warm and inviting environment for your attendees, as well as over 7,000 square feet of outdoor space.

Food & Beverage

In-house, onsite food and beverage services will be provided exclusively by the Las Cruces Convention Center. The team at the Convention Center will work to create customized options that fit the taste and budget of any group. The food and beverage department can create menus to suit your group whether it’s a meeting for 20 or a gala for 800.

Wireless Internet Access

The Las Cruces Convention Center offers the fastest WiFi access available free of charge for your attendees. If you prefer a hard line connection for a presentation or registration area, prevailing rate will apply.

With the ballroom having 9,000 square feet and the exhibit hall having 17,200 square feet the Las Cruces Convention Center offers the flexibility for brining in large exhibits. Each room is carpeted featuring contiguous columnless space and ground level direct access. The ballroom and exhibit hall both feature floor pockets that offer ease of access to electricity and internet connections. Onsite parking offers 375 paved spaces and over 100 spaces of overflow parking with easy access to the building. Additional overflow parking is located a short walk from the building.


The Convention Center is located at 680 University Avenue, at the corner of University Avenue and Union Avenue. The Center is within close proximity of restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and boasts over 2,500 hotel rooms within a 6 mile radius with a Courtyard by Marriott next door!
